JUNE 26: A fierce encounter raged between security forces and terrorists at Bihali area of Basantgarh in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir.Following the specific inputs, a joint operation was launched by Indian Armed Forces and J&K Police in the Bihali of Basantgarh. Reinforcements were pushed in the area to counter the terrorists and thwart any sort of damage.It is learnt that the area was cordoned off and the contact was established between the terrorists and security forces.The encounter is currently underway and further details are awaited.
