US President Donald Trump accused Democrats of leaking classified details about the US airstrikes on Iranian nuclear sites. In a Truth Social post, he claimed: “The Democrats are the ones who leaked the information on the PERFECT FLIGHT to the Nuclear Sites in Iran. They should be prosecuted!”
Trump’s remarks came after a closed-door Senate intelligence briefing which had already drawn scrutiny after being postponed earlier in the week. The session, eventually held on Thursday, failed to provide a unified view on the effectiveness of the strikes.
The briefing was conducted by CIA Director John Ratcliffe, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard was notably absent after previously contradicting Trump’s claims — before later aligning with them.
